Another lecture by Prof. Oladele Awobuluyi underway.

Academic Accomplishments/Achievements for Year 2014

 Members of the Group supervised various degree programmes: Bachelor, Master and Doctorate. Tetfund Research Grant and Scholarship were won. All research group courses are now running on Moodle. Some members attended various conferences. Research Group workshop was held. Two members did their PhD qualifying exams.

    Kumolalo F. O.  successfully defended his PhD thesis.. The title of his thesis is "Development of a Standard Yoruba Digital Text Diacritic Restoration System."

    Congratulations to Obasa Florence A.

    Obasa Florence A. successfully defended her MSc thesis. The title of her thesis is "Formal Analysis and Computation on Spatial Description Concepts."

    Congratulations to Jimoh Àkànjí Hassan

    Jimoh Àkànjí Hassan successfully defended his MSc thesis on June 23, 2014. The title of his thesis is "Design and Implementation of an Ontology for Yorùbá Cultural Heritage Digital Resources."

    Group Member Wins International Robotics Prize

    Robotic ArmA final year student in the department of Mechanical Engineering, ADEBOLA Simeon Oluwafunmilore, has made the University proud in the AFRON “10 Dollar robot” design challenge,as the only African winner in the Tethered category. Of the ten winners worldwide, he placed fourth.
